Professional Life

I did my bachelor’s degree in Mechatronix Engineering at the “Instituto Techológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey” (ITESM) in México between 2005 and 2010. And a master in Electrical Engineering and Electronic Instrumentation at “Universidad Nacional Autonoma de México” (UNAM) also in México between 2010 and 2013. From 2013 to 2017 I did my PhD in the field of swarm robotics and human interaction, at the Natural Robotics Lab from the University of Sheffield, under the supervision of Dr. Roderich Groß and Dr. Andreas Kolling. Between 2018 and 2019 I worked as a RA for the Physics Department of the University of the University of Sheffield. Since 2020, I moved to Trondheim, Norway and have been working at BreachVR. Here I am part of a very skilled team of developers and designers working together in the development of Virtual Reality applications as well as interactive Robotic-VR systems. My main interests are in: Virtual Reality, Robotics, Human-Robot Interaction, Multi-Robot Systems, Artificial Intelligence and all possible ways how these areas relate to each other. If you want to discuss potential research collaborations, please do not hesitate to contact me.
